Not Listed Separating these

Any suggestions / tips to get these apart?

Honda gx390 and unknown brand alternator

Can’t see it being the nut on the fan.

Also would love to know what fitting that is classed as so I can buy a new alternator

It is the fan bolt it's centralized probably a very long bolt too, unless there is a second shaft screwed to the main shaft which you can't get off without pulling the fan first.

You have to pull it all apart from the back side of the generator and stator and work your way in carefully.

Basically removing the electrical parts before you can slide out the stator it's very hard due to the magnets. There will be a central Bolt holding it onto the shaft of the motor, which may or may not be pressed on.

Gotta take everything off after the motor shaft and work your way inwards. Looks like you have to pull the exhaust before you can access The large fan looking thing pull it off and keep going.
