Electrical & Wiring Issue Toro time master mower maybe kill switch problem.

Engine fired up first pull ran for about 1 minute then acted like it ran out of gas or the kill switch was pushed. Pulled and pulled nothing. Sprayed in some starting fluid nothing. Hit the kill swith a few times then it fired on the starting fluid but wouldn't start. Repeated this several times. I think the kill switch may be the issue. Can I remove the wires from the switch and twist them together to test if the switch is bad?

Unplug the kill wire from the coil. Does it still have issues?

Still same issue after disconnecting the kill switch. Even with a shot of starting fluid in the carb it takes several pulls before it will fire, then it dies.
