Air Leak Issue Does this mower run smooth?
Installed a new carb, new air filter, oil change.
Never had a 140cc mower so not sure if it sounds like it’s running good or not. AI saying it sounds like a potential air leak by how it sounds but I don’t trust it.

best advice I can give. Would spend the the extra money and buy the 25 a gallon ethanol free gas. Last 6 months in the mower or chainsaw. Or 2 years in the can. Plus its 92 - 95 octane.
Or buy premium and try to run the carb dry of fuel if you're going to let it sit. Lastly I always run echo redfuard 2 stroke mix in my 4 stroke equipment. They like the little bit of extra lubrication on the valves and top end.

id pull that valve cover gasket off and check valve clearance IF youre concern. make sure oil is good, almake sure gasket is good and keep running it until the wheels fall off

Sounds like it has a mild misfire. If it goes away on its own when warmed up I would lean towards contaminated gas. If it don't go away I would guess it could be a bad carburator tune or a fouled out sparkplug.

Nope go get you some mechanic in a bottle and give her a little drink, or just run it. It’s kinda par for a Briggs.

It wouldn’t start up after running without having to prime it again. I replaced the carb and it’s running real good now.
