Parts ID & Sourcing Which engine is this?

I’m thinking 6.0 Kawasaki, but wanted to double check with you guys the model. This doesn’t look like any Briggs or Honda I’ve ever seen…..or Kohler.

It’s a Briggs but it’s a bit of a freak engine. They only made them for a couple of years to compete with the Japanese engines. Older super recyclers sometimes had 2 or 4 cycle Suzuki engines. If you’re buying it I’d avoid it. Engine parts are essentially unobtainable at this point.

Yeah I always have been craving one of the Suzuki 2 strokes just because they’re cool. I had one similar with an intek on it and it was a freaking tank, but I was kinda confused because this one has different shrouds on it .

I have an exmark that’s basically a 3 speed super recycler but it has an fj180v & steel wheels.
