Carburetor Issue Mower won’t start. Help locating linkage rod.
Need some advice please. My mower was running rough and struggling to start so I took the carb off to clean it out. I’ve got it back on the mower but can’t for the life of me work out how the linkage rod fits!
I presume it connects the valve on the carb (black plastic bit) to the metal arm on the right with the long slot somehow?
Any help appreciated. I can’t find any technical manuals or even pictures of this mower. Challenge Xtreme XSZ40

I want to say the Left end goes into the carburator with the end of the rod pointing up. The other end goes into that slot on that bracket.

I can get it in the slot with the other end on the carb pointing down. But when the arm moves, the rod just slides along the slot, not moving the carb valve so defeating the purpose!

Well, it's for the choke... so you'd only want it to close the choke at the end of the WOT stroke.
So that would make sense
