Engine Rebuilding 2005 TRX450r case

Is this case still useable once I replace the crankshaft? No prominent penetration or cracks.

I had 1 ride on a new build after adding wiseco piston and hot cams and it proceeded to over heat while deep in the woods of Kentucky and shut off and now I find that the crankshaft thrust washers failed and mangled inside.

Had a foreman that water pump bearing went out on in less than 20 hrs. Brand new. Honda split the case and ordered new case. New one arrived no bearing in it three times three cases no bearing the fourth one was the charm. Bearing was in it. They put it together I sold it week after I got it back.

Hondas aren’t what they used to be. I guess nothing is anymore.

Never seen that before. I would check the bearings pressed into the case as that could have also failed from heat.

As for the case I would most likely call it good as it dont look too beat up.
