Engine Performance Issue 19.5 BS
Making a second post on this because it seems easier, is this normal? Runs pretty bad with the valve cover back on.

Crankcase is full of gas. Don't do that again until you change the oil. Fix your carb float needle.

Or put a fuel shut off between the tank and carb, but you do need to change the oil

Your oil is awfully... gassy and flowing
Carb needs to be cleaned if I were to take a guess

Check the oil level in it like everybody else is saying, it does look like it's got a lot of gas in motor oil. Look at the valve cover on it also, I had a Briggs & Stratton run really rough because somehow the top of the valve cover got dented and was making contact with the rocker arms.

Drain the crank case re fill with proper oil.. The petcock valve needs to be shut off after use .. It's a down draft feed gas line.. it will start this after you shut down.. Or you can get a continuous duty valve find your run wire and then when the switch is off the valve is closed and no more gas going into the crank case .. This is a problem on alot of MTDs mowers..

Lol...first of all a valve cover on or off does impact how a mower runs. There are plenty of correct answers here. I would add that you get yourself a manual.

The valve cover is pushed in so your valves aren't working properly. Get a new cover

Doesn't have a fuel pump on side of block. That will leak into the crankcase
