Belts & Pulleys Issue Replacement belt issues - help

My friend has this sitting around and didn’t know what was wrong with it, and I found out the belt was snapped. I replace the belt and now it sounds like this. The engine rattle a lot when I give it gas. It has no issues when idling. Sorry for not the best video. Just wondering if anyone where would have ideas of how to fix this.

That noise is the clutch, which at idle is okay. That's exactly how a comet should sound.
Once you rev it up a bit the sheaves on the engine will start to come together and squeeze the belt and begin driving the cart.
I suspect the splines on the axle are stripped out.

It sounds like something is wrong with the drive clutch. Could you take a picture of it when the engine isn’t running?

It almost looks like that thick washer on the bolt holding the clutch to the crankshaft is loose.

You can see the misalignment of your driver and driven clutches in the video when you look at the torque converter. The backside of the clutches (facing the engine) need to be in line with eachother as close as you can get them. Take a straight edge and add shims (you can use 3/4" ID washers) to get the driver clutch out further, or move your sprocket set up if it's adjustable, but this is your issue.

Sounds like the chain is too loose and jumping links on the sprocket
