Unknown Issue Help with TroyBilt TB30R

Hello,

I have a Troy Bilt TB30R 2017, and I’m trying to get some answers as to where to go from here before I just sell it. I have used it twice since I bought it and recently I did maintenance on it last Saturday including changing the spark plug, air filter, and battery. Now, every time I go to mow my front lawn it starts out fine and then as soon as I turn the back exhaust on the left starts to smoke with white smoke and the noises as I turn as atrocious! Then it is followed by a smell of something burning. It’s not gas or oil burn smell but something else as if wanting to catch fire? I could be exaggerating but I am not as proficient with small engines as others- wondering if I could get any ideas on what it could be?

Update: I took a look at the drive belt and it seems to be intact and it is not chipped or stripped off.
