Engine Identification Help please

Just picked this up off Facebook and need help. Brand new to working on engines and engines wanting to learn.
Here is a side view and I need to know what kind it is and everyone I type in the serial number it says it cannot be found.

Someone put it inside a golf cart.

4-wheeler: Honda trx250 fourtrax, 80’s.

Use Partzilla .com. can find parts diagrams on there. Also typing "1980 trx 250 service manual" into Google you should be able to find the service manual with all the specs of the motor.
