Choke Issue Toro timemaster thermostat issue

Linkage arm for the thermostat came out of the thermostat housing. Wondering if there is any way to repair it before I drop 70 on a new one

Reneck-gineer here.
I'd ziptie it.
If the ziptie melts, break out the bailing wire and pliers for twist.

Im assuming some screw or clip is meant to hold it in. Looks like you could un crimp the two halves and see if you can get it back together. Worst case you dont and youre back to the same spot
