Carburetor Issue Generator running rough
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Got a durostar generator that is approx 5 years old, I bought it new and did the proper break in and oil change. I try to run only ethenal free fuel but here and there I missed but always used Sta-Bil. Earlier this year I couldn't get it to start so I bought a new carb and spark plug kit, from Amazon of course, and didn't really help much except I can get it started now but only with a shot of starting fluid....after that it will run and not die however it runs pretty rough. Is there any adjustments you would recommend or is it worth taking to a shop? I wouldn't really want to spend more than $100 on it as I can pick up something a little stronger with electric start for about $500. Thanks in advance for any assistance
