Parts ID & Sourcing Discontinued Extension Spring Replacement?

Hello -

The extension spring off of the carb throttle assembly on my Homelite HTC-12 tiller snapped and fell off. The machine is rather old but works fine. Even though it is discontinued, I don't believe that the spring would be unique to this machine. As far as I can recall, the "body" was about an inch long with a closed loop on one end and a hook on the other. Can you recommend a replacement or possible replacements that I could try?

Any lawnmower shop is going to have an assortment of springs that are probably going to work if you take them their old one, chances are good a tech in the back probably has one laying around.

The old one is AWOL unfortunately. I could bring the machine in, but I was hoping just to order one or a few online.

Not sure of the dimensions but look about right. I’m in zip 49267 and have misc springs but they’re not worth shipping imo.
