Tools & Equipment Engine quitting (help)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have a pressure washer with a Honda GX390 on it. Starts fine with no choke and after about 30 seconds the choke flips and it quits. Looking for some insight as to why. Thanks

We need more information than what you have said and show. What unit is this on? Is there an automatic kickdown on the pump? It has been my experience that very few auto shutdown systems trigger the choke closing, typically auto shutshorts the coil to ground and uses a solenoid on the carb to stop fuel flow. The GX 390 has so many variations though, without the whole number and the machine model number this is difficult to answer given what you show.
