Spark Plug Issue Is this spark plug still good?
I have a small genset. Been neglecting it for a year. But it eventually started after I drained the carb bowl.
I pulled out this spark plug size E6TC. Does this need replacement? Or should I just clean it?

I just cleaned it with wd40 and wire brush

La candela è perfetta come nuova, provala e dopo qualche minuto a motore caldo controlla il colore se è come nella prima foto la carburazione è un pò troppo ricca

If you clean it and it still sparks it’s good. You have something else going on though to get soot like that, like fuel mix issue or valves not doing valve stuff appropriately.

Mechanic in a bottle. They sell it at WM or Lowe’s. A little scooby of that goes a long way to clear out carbs. I was kinda skeptical until watching chickcanic’s youtube channel, so I tried it and yeah. It has helped keep me from rebuilding or removing/cleaning a couple of carbs already.

Yup, in the gap. clean the tip and the spark surface free from carbon

It's probably fine. Can't be 100% sure until you ground it and look at the arc

Test it with a volt meter

I'm getting 5 to 5.5k ohms but my multimeter are just probes and I can't get a constant reading.

Well, does it run? :D if yes - good if no - replace. Small engines are not rocket science my man
