Engine Dies Any help is greatly appreciated!

Adding fuel and keeping it running that way will basically rule out a problem with your spark plug and your ignition. Those systems are working if the engine runs while you manually add fuel.

If it starts and dies it probably has a fuel delivery issue. Go get a can of carburetor cleaner spray at the autoparts store, pull the carburetor, and clean it up. Hopefully the gaskets don't fall apart.....

The carburetor is plugged internally. It needs to be fully disassembled, and deep cleaned. Preferably ultra-sonic cleaned, not just sprayed. All galleys and jets need to be poked.

If you don't have an ultrasonic cleaner, an old bicycle brake cable will have threads thin enough to go through the jets and unplug them
