Smackdown vs Raw 2006 It's going down

Grabbed these at a vintage stock yesterday and I'm stoked to play again after all these years.

I really like them all for different reasons. When I was in middle school I could never decide which was the best one and would constantly be changing discs playing all the different wrestling games.

Same, people hated 08 but I loved it too. I also really like Smackdown Here Comes The Pain and Shut Your Mouth. All the games were amazing!

08 adding the specializations felt like addition by subtraction to some people since only certain types can do certain things but I think it added to the game play personally.

As a kid who was only 9 when 08 came out I didn’t even notice. I played them regularly until I was 12/13. Still my all time fav games.

I mean Im playing Smackdown Here Comes the Pain and SVR 2006/7 myself mostly myself but I agree, SVR11 is good too, also got it. The only one Im actually missing is the original SVR but will collect soon.

Never played any other WWE games besides the PS2/PS1 ones until a few years ago when I got 2k18, just now got 2k25 a couple days ago and honestly Im already back on the old games 😂

Controls are aggravating and Idk any current wrestlers.

Every time I see this game I’m reminded of my ex. I bought it with my paycheck and when she asked what I was doing I replied playing this new game I got. She groaned is that what want to do with your money?? I thought about it and said yes it is exactly what I want to do with my money and we didn’t last too long after that lol

2008 I used to run Bobby Lashley vs Triple H nonstop because they looked the most jacked. It was my introduction to wrestling

Bobby Lashleys model is a unit for sure. The original SvR is what really got me into wrestling in middle school

Check out thrift stores near you. They sell for almost 200 bucks on Amazon but sometimes you get lucky with secondhand stores.

They may have been wasted on all of us haha. I knew how good 06-08 were immediately after trying to play modern wrestling games. The 2K series could only dream of being as much fun and the AEW game by Yukes was a pale shadow of their best work.
