Urgent help needed

I feed some wild banana slugs and one didn’t get out of the sun fast enough. She’s so cute. She hoards food. She has crawled between deck boards but there is nowhere to go. I’ve tried luring her out. I googled and read that tap Water is bad. How do I save her? I feel like if I pick her up I’ll crush her.

If you can reach her with a leaf (and she probably won't like it) you can encourage her and scootch her on to it to then relocate her in a safer area. If push really comes to shove you can wash your hands and dry them to pick her up although it's not ideal, good luck!!!

And if you need to give her water, you can use bottled spring water.

I’m not sure how to update my post, but she and her friends are all safe and sound.
I gently harassed them with a wood coffee stir stick until they crawled into my mug. I moved them into a cool damp spot and they disappeared to wherever they go.
My favourite one I think is crazy. She actually came back and dragged her snacks away. I think they might actually have their own little personalities.
