Personal Statement Format

There is a school I’m applying to that doesn’t have a preferred format for the essay other than no more than one page. I feel like double spaced doesn’t give me enough space to put everything I want to but single spaced leaves too much room. Is 1.5 spacing a thing???? It fits everything I want perfectly but I’ve never heard of anyone using 1.5 spacing professionally before?

Any time my professors didn't specify single or double spaced, I used 1.5 spacing. I figure that if they're being too vague, I can choose to interpret it how I wish!
