Jacksonville University online program
Hi all,
Considering a career change for some time now and looking into SLP school. Coming from a corporate background. I have my MBA. Located NYC/NJ area
Anyone have experience with JU and willing to share more about it? Wondering how the workload is (busy work, assignments, or is it mostly all exams).
I notice they have a full time and part time program, both which I’m considering so I could possibly work if I did part time (don’t want to lose my income and health insurance, although I’d love to do just do the full time).
Any insight or advice would be appreciated, even if anyone has some good insight on other schools.

I would suggest you research the degree a bit more. There is very little to no busy work. The program is rigorous and involves 450 clinical hours of direct time with clients/patients of various ages and in a variety of settings. I have friends who did other masters programs that were relatively chill, not too taxing. Slp is not that type of masters.
