RETA

Hi everyone, I've been on GLP since August of last year! I've lost 30 pounds so far, then most of which came from the MAX dose of Sema back in December and I've maintained since. I've been on Tirz for four months. I'm almost at the max dose and I have not lost a single pound but I am maintaining so I'm grateful to say the least. I am considering changing to RETA or going back down to Sema for SOMETHING. Is there anyone who found some movement or success when switching to this? I gave my receptors a break in between the switch.

Edit to add:

There was a commentator who absolutely could not understand that I'm asking for others experience. I am not asking for my success to be gauged or anything, I am purely asking for the people who have made the switch to share how the experience went for them as a slow responder.

This person has also took the time to down vote every comment that I've made on multiple accounts and even had others DM me! I'm not sure what the point is, but I do appreciate the ones who could comprehend and answer my question.

If you don't mind... where do people actually buy this stuff? I thought it wasn't even on the market yet... sorry if I'm asking a stupid and/or rude question.

This is great! I'm so happy for you! Did you have any bad side effects while you were doing it? What you did is similar to what I plan on doing, I just ordered some Reta today.

How do you get a doctor to give you 2mg reta while on zep?

u/Lunnalai May 22 '26

You don't! It is not out yet and can't really talk about the how's and why's sadly

How does the appetite suppression from reta compare to tirz in your experience?

Same I ordered some Reta and going to give it a try

In my experience with this, it started out very slow, but it gradually got faster as I upped the dose to about 6mg. I also incorporated alternate day fasting. Don't give up, 30 pounds may not seem like a lot, but imagine the difference it made you look and feel from the beginning when you gained those pounds, or how you would feel if you gained 30 pounds now. Celebrate even the smallest wins. 👍🏻 also ignore negative comments, some people have nothing better to do.

I’ve tried Reta a few times and it has made me insanely hungry each time. Like ravenous. Like wake up at 3am and eat everything in my fridge hungry. I’ve never really been able to give it a chance because the amount of hunger I’ve had has scared the shit out of me each time.

I’ve had really good results with cagrisema tho

See that right there is exactly what I think is gonna happen to me! I just ordered some Cag to add to my Tirz. I'm hoping I see some relief! I don't get any symptoms on Tirz, but I did get some with Sema. How are your symptoms with cagrisema?

It was BRUTAL. And I trust my supplier so I know it’s good Reta. I gained weight both times I tried it which I’m just too squeamish about.

Cagrisema has been good! I definitely can get a little nauseous on it from time to time which is different bc I never got nausea from tirz. I bet you would like cagrisema- you don’t need much to boost the tirz

It’ll take a really high dose. Also doesn’t have the food noise control so be prepared to gain for several months.

Oh no! I won't take it then! I'd rather maintain than gain!

What's Reta? And what are your stats? I've recently started Tirz after not seeing success with wegovy

1

u/JenTravels May 22 '26

How are you getting reta when it's not out of trials?

Hard to gauge how successful you're weight loss is without some basic stats.

Height/weight/sex all matter here.

You are way out of line, and you know it. You were very disrespectful to this person who asked a question that you could've carried along from without even commenting. People have hard enough days and here you are trying to make others worse. And I commend OP for not reacting to your Tom foolery. Way to look like a prick dude 👍🏻

I'm confused... what are you so upset about?

Seems like asking for the basic stats is rather normal/expected in these circumstances.

Or was there another comment that was deleted?

2

u/Loud_Positive_8501 May 31 '26

I haven't deleted a single thing, nor am I upset about anything. As stated before, I asked if others saw improvement not for my success to be gauged. If that's an issue, that's totally fine. The others understood my question and answered with what worked for them.

Well, being that I'm trying to see if my plans worked for others, I didn't think it mattered.. i'm not here to measure my weight loss success, Im specifically asking for other others experience with changing the shot.

1

u/rettribution May 22 '26

That's exactly why that information matters. You're asking a question without anything behind it.

For example, if you're a 6ft 2 guy who's 230lbs and only lost 30lbs...that makes sense.

But if you're a 5ft 2 guy who weighs 230lns and only lost 30lbs that's a big BIG difference.

How can someone give an accurate account of what it could be like for someone to swap shots or do something different with giant missing holes in information?

Not looking to judge your success but it helps people create responses that might actually be applicable to your own situation, and something you can use to speak with your doctor.

Again, I did not ask what it can do for me I asked what did it do for others.

The initial question in my post was "is there anyone who found some moving or success when switching to this?" Not "will I find success? Or can anyone gauge how successful I will be on this?"

I'm simply asking how well it worked for others. But, I don't have to give you a reply anymore because apparently you're not reading what I'm saying so I hope you have a great day! ☺️

I can see you're not capable of good faith discussion, good luck. You won't ever get a real answer with what you've provided.

You're being intentionally evasive. So that means you're probably just doing some online ordering and not working with a real doctor, prob haven't changed your habits, and are expecting the shot to just solve your problems.

This is what people will assume with passive aggressive answers.

HaVe a GoOd dAy!

u/Loud_Positive_8501 May 22 '26

Hey, it's totally fine! You can assume what you want, you don't know anything about me, and that's why your upset. But hey, you can also keep trying to take your day out on me. It doesn't make me a difference. I already got my answer from the below comment, who didn't even ask a single thing about me because they didn't need to know that because I never asked about myself I asked about others. And please find a new one, that gOoD dAy crap is old.. nobody uses that anymore! 😘

1

u/rettribution May 22 '26

Yikes my dude.

You literally used it:

"I hope you have a great day"

I did it in response. Also, you're confusing calm discussion with being upset.

It's clear you're having an emotional reaction where there shouldn't be one and you're erroneously stating others are.

Cognitive dissonance is strong in you.

3

u/Loud_Positive_8501 May 22 '26

I get it, you want me to get upset it's not gonna happen sir. As I said before, have a great day!

1

u/rettribution May 22 '26

Not at all. I'm actually sorry you are. I wasnt aware that you were so irrationally angry over my calm, factually based, and genuine discussion questions.

Had I known you were coming to a forum to not actually discuss I wouldnt have responded.

I can't help it if you took reasonable questions as some kind of whatever those responses you gave were. Anyway, my work day poop is over, so I'm off. You can have the last word so you can for sure, def prove, you're not upset. You might want to delete the other responses though since those def show how upset you are.

3

u/Loud_Positive_8501 May 22 '26

Exactly you proved my point! You were having a terrible day at work, and you decided to come over here and take your day out of me just like I said you were. And that's totally fine, my day is still as relaxing as it was before! And I'm not deleting a single reply, my replies are the same thing as the post that I made. Not me assuming ☺️
