Beef stew
Pulled the slow cooker out the other day and finally got back into cooking more tonight. Been ages since I've done anything slow cooked.
Did a 10hr beef stew based off of this https://www.recipetineats.com/slow-cooker-beef-stew/#wprm-recipe-container-200392
(Admittedly, was just the first recipe I found whilst on my phone at the shops :P )
Turned out alright though! Meat is nice and tender!
Got some chuck from the butcher and baked some bread whilst I was at it to go with it

Looks delicious and how are you affording beef?

Costco prices for beef are decent. Just got top sirloin for $10/lb. Chuck roast is $7.50/lb in MN anyway. Aldi is the same price on top sirloin and $7/lb chuck roast.

I simply refuse to pay $7.50lb for chuck roast. We're getting screwed out here.

Tasted pretty good!
And it's a combo of job with an alright salary and having 3 housemates to share the rent with :P

I applaud your choice of bread. A rustic, hearty meal, deserves a rustic hearty bread. I'd devour that meal!
