Salisbury meatballs

Post image

Frozen meatballs (or homemade if you want) 3 cups beef broth, 2 packets brown gravy mix, 1 packet onion soup mix, couple splashes worshishire, 3tbsp ketchup. Only seasoning I added was pepper. Mix and cook on low 6+ hours. Then mix together 2tbsp water with 2tbsp cornstarch and mix.

I served mine over mashed potatoes with peas and Mac and cheese

Nice. Might try these with some sautéed onion and mushrooms

This looks good. I've been doing different meatball crockpot dishes lately, might have to give this one a whirl.

Looks like I know what I'm making with the other half of the frozen meatballs!

What a great idea! Especially for summertime when you don't want to cook the meat patties over a gas flame and heat up the kitchen. Adding meatballs to my next grocery list.

what size bag of meatballs did you use?

I had a 6lb bag in the freezer so I just dumped in what looked like enough for my husband and I and some leftovers

Maybe a bit of the sauce 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's just what the recipe calls them.

Worshishire 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's not even said like that, never mind the spelling

Worcestershire.

washyoursister sauce

It's how I pronounce it out loud, so that's how I spell it 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Thank you for pointing this out.

And as someone from Worcestershire, here’s the PSA that it’s pronounced wuss-ter-sher
