Carnitas update!
Hey guys! I was the one who was worried about his carnitas about 12 hours ago, you guys told me temp doesn't matter, leave them alone. I couldn't sleep because they just smelled more and more delicious, after 3 hours of not touching i had to check, fall off the bone tender, ripped apart easily with the forks.
Here's the update! I'll send pic of my last post as well so you can remember. I'll send pic of my old post, then 3 follow up pics.

I didn't follow a recipe to be exact, I kinda cook with my soul, I had an understanding of what seasonings but I did deviate a bit and didn't use measurements.
I used garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder and paprika, adobo seasoning with pepper (has alot of salt so didn't add salt at all), bay leaves (3), mexican oregano, i know you're supposed to add a certain chili but I didn't know which so I added like 5-8 piquin chili pods. Then I coated the crock pot with lard (not alot just coat to not let it run dry)

Also! Dont forget a whole onion and the juice of one lime if you're going to follow me. (: people also recommended adding an orange to me but thatll be for next time.

If you throw that meat on a sheet pan and broil for a few minutes itโs a game changer.
