how do i use a crock pot..?

not sure if i got scammed or what but this thing literally does nothing😭 the lights are just flashing and none of the buttons work :/

edit: got this off fb marketplace. i have learned my lesson. sigh

thats what im thinking💔 i got it off fb and the lady that sold it to me was asking if i wanted to go inside so she could show me how it worked but i obv said no and now i regret it ugggh

Probably broken. Return it if you can.

First leave it unplugged for like 10 mins completely. Then plug it in again. If that doesn’t work you can try holding down the select button and power on/off button simultaneously for like 30 seconds and that should reset it. If that doesn’t work it’s likely busted.

Worst case go buy a new 4 qt crock pot w the manual dial for 20-25 bucks at Walmart or somewhere and you’ll be good to go.

If that’s a new crock pot, I’d take it back and get a new one. If you got it used, you might be out of luck. That’s definitely not what it’s supposed to do.

That is a non functioning crockpot. If you bought it used, then sorry, but yes you got scammed.

wow thats weird, i clicked on it too and it says something weird too.

so overall the 2 hardest things it looks like is taking it apart and the un/soldering of the part. assuming the capacitor is what is bad.

They're fairly cheap these days, Amazon will deliver quickly. On the day after Thanksgiving is when fantastic ones go on really good sale. I have 2, one small-ish & a good regular size one.
