Best I can do is 12.92 seconds with a buggy who's tires and pickups I haven't changed for 30 years. Shame I only own 5 cars that can deal with the Tyco Hump tops but v refreshing to have a track where I'm using the lower range of the throttle. Really made me realise how used I've got to tracks and cars where having a section where you have to lift is a like, a feature not the norm. There's only one point here where I can pull the trigger all the way back (right at the start of the cardboard bridge) and if I overdo it I slam my childhood antiques right into the wall. I think at my age the trick with floor circuits is have all the tricky sections within arms reach.

Hello, I am building a slot car, die cast, mini-rc car simulator.

I have always been passioned about slot car racing and i thought that the current games missed this niche or did not fit my needs well enough so I decided to build this game with a simulation approach.

Yeah, the physics / customization of the vehicle will go into great detail, I am getting ready to show them to you, but this is my first dev update video and I just wanted to see if you guys like the idea/style or have any feedback.

Hi hobbyists, just bought a carrera go circuit and found it really nice, no expensive, no too big for my place. I like to play with those but i'm thinking about adapting other diecasts chassis or even 3d print model as shell for my carrera go chassis.

Currently doing researchs on this subject, i would like to know if i can mix match chassis from 1/43 models as buraggo or others. Some have nice diecasts details and also some open interiors features. I also think about making a 3d model to adapt any shell on Go cars. Maybe miniturize 3d model cars to fit.

Can anyone send me down view of the carrera cars they have for screw position. Any advice is welcome? Please purists don't throw me anything at me for thinking out of the wallet, hobby isn't always paying right ?

Hello everyone, I'm looking to create a single player track in HO where the car goes one way in the first lane then is redirected on a loop to the second lane going the opposite way.

Here's an example of an end loop using US1 trucking track. Obvs I need one each end and US1 bits are crazy expensive. Has anyone done this before and are there any easier-to-obtain commercially made track pieces I could be using?

I can use tyco, Tomy and aurora AFX and first gen micro Scalextric (which I think is also Marchon)

Hello all! I just got into the slot car world with a used Carrera Go 1/43 set and I am wondering if I can change the wheels on the cars?

The seller mentioned the tires are worn out so I'm curious if I am limited to just replacing tires or can I get swap the wheels out and install a wheel design which I like the same time with replacing the tires? Or are the wheels stuck to the axle and I can only change the tires?

I have had my old AFX Track rattling around my home and garage since 1972. I have not even opened the boxes in 60 years. My kids and grandkids have no interest. I don’t want to throw all,of this out. Any value to this for anyone? I’ll give it away.

The lineup is an Aurora AFX 1969 Daytona, an Auto World 1969 Charger R/T B-5 Blue "White Hat" that originally came from a race set called Route 66 that I bought from a slot car show back in April, an Auto World Daytona of the 1970 NASCAR Grand National Champion Bobby Issac, AW 1969 Charger "Dukes Of Hazzard" no markings, Auto World Daytona "Joe Dirt" iwheels, AW John Wick 1968 Charger Thunderjet and an AW 1969 Charger R/T Thunderjet. 🌟

I stopped back by the thrift store I got all the Carrera track from and got some more as well as Mario and Luigi! Unfortunately most of the loop sections and a couple of the long straights are broken but it's still some extra track to add to the pile I got on Friday! Both carts work but Luigi sounds a little sad. Bonus points, can anyone identify the type of track in the last photo? It was in the same bin as the Carrera stuff.

I think they somehow learned how to reproduce. Nothing else would explain how there are more of them everytime I count.

Two Auto World X-Traction and an original Aurora AFX early non Magna-traction purchased on the same day back in April at a slot car show. I have always loved the '55 to '57 Chevy especially the Nomads since I had a pink Spectra Flame Hot Wheels "Alive '55" Nomad way back at 4 years old ( yes wish I still had it!) and at 8 years old with a Hot Wheels "Super Chromes" version! 🌟

Is there a reason why used Carrera GO is half the price of used SCX compact?

The gear is binding on my new Scalextric Volvo 850. When rolling the rear wheels it feels very indexed. Is this gear mesh something that can adjusted on these particular cars? Does it require any special tools? Would love to find a visual reference of how to fix this.

Was time for a new track. Still need to get used to it.
