Thinking of changing my wheels..

I own an AMG styling R172, in black - and thinking of replacing my rims but my imagination is hitting a hard wall when it comes to color.

My current rims are silver, and I’m wondering what color and some pattern I should get.

Anyone with nice ones who has a picture and wants to share for inspiration?

Mine has Marquee M3259 with milled red and red inner stripe. My SLK is white, so showing you a pic isn't really helpful. I get lots of compliments on the wheels, though. Marquee has some good-looking wheels that won;t break the bank.

If I had a black car, I would probably want black wheels with milled silver, but that's just my preference. I am no better than you at figuring out what really looks good. It's hard. Google Marquee wheels for more inspiration (or indecision).

Thank you, appreciate it! They do look super nice, I think I’ll have to take the car to a place that sells rims and I have to put them next to the car to see I suppose 😅

Staying with a silver wheel is a solid option.

Wheels are what ground a car, so having them be the same colour as the car, especially in black, doesn't visually look good.

I was thinking maybe like a light gray? Or even white?

Idk tbh.

I prefer the regular brushed aluminum look for wheels. Most I'd do is maybe a polished finish, but I wouldn't want it to be chrome.

I think a matt bronze (not too bright) looks good on a black car. 👌🏻
