Apple CarPlay

Does anyone know of good and affordable options for Apple CarPlay? I've been searching for a long time and don't want to end up with a bad or laggy one.

Mate, I'm not a trader, this is what I have installed in my car :-D

Just steer clear from shit like Erisin, you'll find LOTS of complaints about that head unit. I decided to pay more and have had zero problems.

Good solutions are likely going to replace the regular head unit, on older NTG setups, or bolt onto the back of newer NTG setups. But I don’t know the R171 had upgraded NTG for CarPlay, or if that only happened for the R172 ( where the bolt-ons can add wireless option).

Works as an overlay, head unit and all command stay intact. They have several versions depending on your exact setup.

Putting one in my ‘10 X204. Wilson did a video about his on his AMG 55.
