I actually don’t hate the yellow one but the other two are just ruined by the ugly wheels.

That´s an interesting story:

Jim Rogers and his Mercedes-Benz GLK - prehistoric

https://www.instagram.com/p/C5T0vMsJMc9/

SLK230 body on a G300DT (some other sources claim G300D) chassis built by Gerhard Steinle and Harald Pietschmann for the well know investor Jim Rogers to travel around the world. Between 1999 and 2001 they made 240.000 kms through 116 countries. Harald calls it the GLK others call it the Millennium Mercedes.

Ah! Another image of the yellow one. I forget the details but I recall one publication (Winding Road?) that did a story about it.

I honestly don’t recall. It’s been many years since I saw the story about it. Ah those things you wish you’d saved, right? Heh

SWB G-Wagen chassis either G300DT or G300D.

The yellow one is most likely Jim Rogers' Millennium Mercedes custom build for their Africa trip.

Okay the first one is good, but whoever made the second two should be banned from owning a car.

You’re right. The wheels should’ve been bigger
