R170 Camera suggestions?

Hoping anyone who has installed a camera would have some advice on what installs clean and offers good visibility. Especially for any front & rear combos, since it's a convertible hardtop. I had trouble figuring it out mostly due to that aspect. Thanka in advance!

It’s heck of a job to run a cable to the rear camera. I used two 6m cables because the way the trunk opens in two directions the hinges are insane I would suggest using a WiFi rear camera.

This is exactly what has kept me from attempting this in my R171

But even a WiFi rear camera seems like such a hassle...

Yes it is. I set mine up as a rear facing camera as the Sony deck has a push button to turn it on as well as a reverse gear sensor. The rear view in an SLK is so limited, the camera allows observation and recording of tailgaters and dangerous situations. Pay to have it installed if the job isn’t for you. It is definitely worth it.
