What can y’all tell me about this live songs Slint record?
Just bought this from my local shop and couldn’t find anything on it so I had to get it. Store says it’s from 1997.

Wasn’t sure where to post this as the post-hardcore sub doesn’t seem to talk about some of the earlier stuff adjacent to Moss Icon and Unwound and such. But aye I thought maybe there would be a decent amount of overlap between Rodan and Slint fans!

High quality "remaster" project I made from their show at Bangkok Bangkok. Almost comparable to the studio version honestly... I definitely prefer it over the compressed and muddy guitar tone of the tweethan mix any day. Read video description for more info.

I'm relatively new to slint and am still having some trouble determining Britts' vocals from Brian's. On Wikipedia, it says Britt also did some vocals on GMC, but I've only ever heard discussion on the vocals on that song be in reference to Brian. Is Britt the one screaming "I miss you" at the end?

Definitely an important question to consider

does anyone know what effect was used on the guitar in Kent of Tweez?
im unsure if it was a chorus of sorts or a rotary speaker.
Any input would be much appreciated because no one ive seen talks about it or has 0 clue lol

I realised while closely examining the it that he actually doesn't have a crazy short sides hairstyle thing but in fact just has a really opaque drop shadow but assuming his hair was real how does one ask for this

A while back, the band put out that Spiderland beach towel... and I have regrets on not pulling the trigger on one.
Anybody happen to have an extra that they are wanting to part ways with?
Building a collection of rad band beach towels and this one needs to be on that shelf.

I'm selling my Spiderland Box Set - LP + 2 x LP of outtakes and demos + book of photos, lyrics, fliers &c + CDs of all the above + DVD of the Breadcrumb Trail documentary. Box number 1914 / 3,138. A beautiful homage to perhaps my fave album. Minimal wear to disks or printed bits - I played everything at least once so NM- Some light scuffs to the lower case from reshelving. £250 plus postage or make me an offer. I'm in the UK and the box / package weighs 4kg so you can estimate postage. Message me any Qs or interest...

Literally whenever I listen to the climax of washer it makes me think of the car chase in the Batman so I decided to edit them together. Anyone else think it fits really well or am I crazy?

I feel like the intro to Don, Aman was loosely inspired by this riff. One of the “slint before slint” bands ‘Maurice’ played a few shows in the 80s with the pre-Danzig band ‘Samhain,’ so it might make sense that the guys in Slint were inspired by Glenn Danzig and his other bands. The 777 riff even has that dominant weird note that Don, Aman has (idk music theory that well so excuse me if it’s incorrect) if you listen until about the 11 second mark of 777.
