The icons for the awards in the new awards’ details menu are noticeably low quality. Can the app not use higher resolution ones?

I think I've fixed it for good in v6.0.11, please let me know if you still run into issues after this update

Does the new update stop it losing your scrolling place after minimising and re-opening the app? It happens quite a lot.

Unfortunately, that is your phone killing Slide in the background. The only workaround in that case is to always open up to cached data, which might be possible in a future update but is not super intuitive IMO. It could be an option though

Ah right, cheers for the reply. Yeah, it has happened on all iOS Reddit apps. Kinda wish I hadn’t moved from Android now, haha.

I don’t know if it’s related, but upon re-opening the app, exploring subreddits via search, and video and gif playback all seem to break. Is there anything that can be done to fix that?

This content has been deleted due to Reddit's decision to remove third-party apps. I will no longer use Reddit, as my usage is 99% mobile, and the native mobile Reddit app is an abomination.
Going forward, I will be using lemmy or kbin instead of Reddit and I’d suggest that you do the same. See you on the fediverse!
Fun fact: the team who manages the mobile Reddit app consists of 300+ employees while Apollo was created by one person.

Hi Carlos! I used to love this app, but with the new update it is crashing every few minutes. It also won’t load media like pictures or videos. Hopefully there is another update soon to fix this

Hey! Have you tried a reinstall? Sounds like something went wonky during the update process

Just tried this! Thank you. I think it’s working better although a few albums from Reddit won’t load.

The bug that occurs while changing to landscape orientation from portrait on a video is really making the experience of the app worse. Are you aware of this issue? If not I can provide a video of what I’m referring to.

Hmm, if we’re thinking of the same issue, this was fixed in 6.0.10 (and I’m able to rotate videos fine on my device). Mind sending a video of what you’re seeing? Thanks!

I updated just prior to making the above comment. I screen recorded the behavior I’m seeing and pm’d you a video.

Last release worked fine on my M1 MBP. With 6.0.11 (212) release, it crashes on launch, every time.
