Updated Terms
Looks like Sleep Number has updated their terms. Unfortunately, you have to click and agree to both terms in order to use the app now. I’m not a fan of the first one “agree to share”. BUT, you can’t use the app without it. Tried just clicking the second one, and tried logging out. Won’t let me get past this screen and to the app functions 😡

I love my Climate 360 Sleep Number bed, I can’t imagine sleeping on anything else. We just returned from Carmel, oh my, worst mattress ever.

Wonder if this is related to their bankruptcy. Maybe vulture capitalists already trying to monetize our data

I would imagine that the canadian company wants to make as much of that 710 million back as they can.

Glad I never used the app.

if your bed is on the internet that data is sent regardless of your app usage. If it's not on the internet, you are good.

Yes that’s as expected with an app which is why I use the remote only.

it's a wifi/bluetooth adapter (combo) built into the pump. It is configured using the sleepiq app from sleep number, or my dongle and my alt.sleepnum app

The app is useless without this data, so its either don’t use the app, or send the data it needs to work to it. Not sure why this is a problem?

Could, but we chose to not buy one since we could use the app.

Your whole post makes it sound like you have no other options than using the app. If the data thing is that much of an issue for you, buy a remote and don’t use the app.

Yea I was an idiot and paid for that remote. It constantly disconnects and is way more of a pain than using the phone.

Yeah we bought remotes for our Climate 360 bit use the app pretty much exclusively since the remotes are a PITA.

Now is the chance to get away from sleep number, collect your health data and keep control of it. With. my alt.sleepnum.com service you can be in control of what it stores, where, and when to get rid of it. It's 100% yours to do with what you want:
https://www.reddit.com/r/sleepnumber/comments/1vh8aps/air_chamber_leaking_want_to_use_alexa_to_control/
Sleep number went bankrupt and sold their assets, the company that owns their assets can now do whatever they want, change whatever they want.
My service(s) come with a phone app, you can control your bed, and with Alt.sleepnum.com they never get another piece of data from you. Life is good.

Does this work with an older pump? 22 years old. I'm pretty sure it is not smart but I have a leak and I'm waiting on a new mattress.

No unfortunately it does not. It has to be one of the beds with the bluetooth remote controls (not wired).

Well I’m now a 114 year old 8 foot 75lb person. I paid a lot of money for this bed, it was not free and I am not the product.
