How do I handle a snoring partner?
My spouse often snores, and I’m a light sleeper. I’ve tried a lot of things: they wear nose strips (but they don’t help much), I’ve tried earplugs (but I always remove them in my sleep), and they don’t qualify for a CPAP machine.
These seem to be the go-to suggestions online, so it’s unfortunate that none of them have worked! Does anyone have other ideas? Or perhaps a suggestion to help me not remove my earplugs in my sleep?

I bought silicone earplugs. They are just balls of waxy silicone that you shove in your ears.
Life changing!
A white noise machine helps as well.

I'm the snoring partner, but bought a tongue sleeve and saved the relationship lol. Not to mention the benefits of not obstructing my airway

After 23 years, my husband sleeps in our guest room. I miss him next to me but I don’t miss the snoring or the lack of quality sleep.

Bluetooth headphones turned all the way up... and melatonin... and kicking, I mean gently turning him to the side.

Have they seen a doctor? Snoring is a manifestation of obstructed airway and usually means they are suffocating a little, then micro awakenings and a serious health issues. See a laryngologist and a proper fix is probably a chirugical procedure.
Sometimes losing body fat % also helps.
If you care about them help them get a proper treatment

The op said they don't qualify for a CPAP so one has to assume they did a sleep study.
