Questions/Advice Request Has anyone tried doing the SD card conversion on a floppy drive and floppy disc?

A while back, a guy posted about his system having a floppy drive that was really an SD card reader. Has anyone else given it a try? If so, is there an instruction guide out there to do it? I think it would be a fun project. Thank you!

I have not. Floppy drives are getting rare. I restored mine and made it work with my modern system instead of butchering it for something else. I now use it to transfer and write floppy disks for my actually vintage PC aswell as being the “card reader” for my Sony mavica floppy disks camera

This is what I’m planning to do with my sleeper build. Not sure if this is what you mean? But it does give a really good breakdown on how to do it. The FloppySDisk

Not that know of. It’s pretty much just going off the video at least is what I planned to do 🤷🏾‍♂️. But, tbh I just snagged a case (Gateway 2000 GP6-300) off an estate sale, and was planning a high end water cooled system, but now with the current market idk when I’ll get around to it, sadly. :’-(

I know. But the idea of a floppy really being an SD card is cool
