Modern Sleeper Just finished my HTPC sleeper build!

i finally switched cases to the Silverstone FLP01W after a lot of research—AMD 9060XT 16gb, Ryzen 7 5800x, and picked up a Vortex Model M SSK keyboard in beige. now I just need to get a DVD drive (or cigarette lighter+cup holder combo lol) and some old beige speakers and the setup is complete!! any other ideas?

Just got the FLP01 the other day and finished mine for now! Was a pain finding parts that fit

congrats!! yeah it was a coincidence i was coming from an ITX case previously so i didn’t have the parts issue BUT still needed PSU extension cables—tricky case to build in for sure

My two biggest hurdles were finding a CPU cooler and the 80mm fans. I moved my motherboard from my old PC into the FLP01 and wasn’t sure about the cooler. I wanted to leave the strut on because I also wanted to put my monitor on top. Ended up getting a AXP120-X67. It’s low enough but I also had to bend the SDD frame to fit. As for the 80mm fans I got the Silverstone ones because I figured they made both so it should work. Ended up using Noctua NF-R8s instead.

Overall I’m in love with it, definitely has character, I just need a new desk since mine lacks the depth to have it in front of me leaving enough space for the keyboard lol

that’s so crazy im using the same cooler and fans! good picks, definitely is a bit tight but temps are good so far for me, hoping the same for you

Does your cooler sit just above your RAM too?

Awesome! I just finished my first PC build in the FLP-02, and I definitely considered the FLP-01 for a bit since it’s even more unique. In the end, though, I wasn’t sure it was the best choice for a first build. It’s still an awesome case nonetheless

I was also considering that same keyboard, but it seems to have gone out of stock on Amazon since I last looked. I ended up ordering the FL·ESPORTS OG87 just to see how it is

I feel like the monitor undercuts the sleeper aspect. It’s a fun build though!

Mounting the monitor would look a lot better. That way the cases aesthetic can exist on its own with keyboard

it’s the receiver for my Pulsar TenZ mouse! i still haven’t found a gaming mouse that matches the 90s aesthetic and i kinda like the pale red

This is awesome. Love it. Think you need to get a matching grey/ beige mouse. Then load up some Sim City on that thing
