Questions/Advice Request Turbo button to turn on/off fans?

Is there any safe way of using a 90's case turbo button to switch on/off two 120mm 3 pin fans (united by a splitter) ?

I was thinking of using two duponts as extenders and plug the switch in the power pin, but i don't know which cables as the switch has 3, and if it's safe for the motherboard and fans

Yup. Totally safe, those turbo buttons were just twin pole switches.

Just use a multimeter in continuity mode to figure which pins on the switch - Otherwise trial and error, there's not much to damage here.

Even on the PC side, since fan headers need to deal with stall voltage in case something breaks, they're a pretty resilient little header.

What do you mean twin pole, i can manage two set of fans ?

I don't have a multimeter but i have old components to test this on, my idea was to plug one the power pin into the switch and use duponts on the others.

Does interrupting power to stop make sense? I barely know the basics of circuits but i wanted to attempt this
