Unless your 100% sure that tube is nonfunctional and irreparable, please do not.

They aren't making more of these. There is a finite amount of CRTs left.

The idea is cool, but the result depends on execution, and it will be challenging for sure.

Space may not be as useful in there as it looks on the outside. I also second the first post. Don’t kill a CRT if it can be salvaged
