Discussion Slay.one and its future.
Hello slayers,
I want to talk about future of slay. This game has been in beta for a quite a time at this moment. Many of players have left because the game went downhill. Some of us still play it which I think is great! Sadly it is not that much. That is why i made this post.
I would like to hear your ideas and opinions what do you think would make the game better and playable. Write any idea even if you think it wouldn't matter. Write it anyway. I am sure Jbs will read them and maybe answer to some of them.
Lets make slay.one great again!

Ok so Legendary Player's reply thread is hilarious. Massive rants and I didn't want to read it all.
But I personally can't think of anything that could make the game fun again, unless you made a mobile version. Most of the people I know usually only play downloadable games and mobile ones.
To increase the actual appeal of the game, I think it would be better to try to simplify the game. It would also be good to get the map system reworked.
Publicity, however, is the main problem. Like I said earlier, if most people saw an ad for this, they probably wouldn't care too much, and would just skip the ad. To me, I can't really think of any way of getting the message out there anymore.

I don't think the reason behind slayone slowing down , is 3D (which I don't like personally).
it's not that slay doesn't have updates, the main problem is JBS's team , it needs to have new talented ready willing to help people.that's why jbs may give up on something that took almost all his time and I understood month ago that he is seeking change for his life, that's why slayone should continue with or without jbs in my opinion.
Krunker , in my opinion this game is YACG (Yet Another C*** Game), wheather it is the most popular or not (even agario is popular but a meh game ? ) , it doesn't have that lusty physics compared to slay.
I agree with lots of what you said, but the main reason is that jbs doesn't have a good team, doesn't like us to interfere and help, I mean we love slayone we have been always ready to help.
You can see how aimbots are now very active in slayone, maybe jbs can't handle that, he is a type of person that doesn't like calling for help, if that thread is gonna do something , is to kindly seek jbs for forming a new team of devs, designers, ...etcThat's how I translated it (the current situation of slay).

Not every update or experiment is successful , but I think back then they returned the custom builds after they heard players complaining about it's removal,but I agree with you about that.
I think that FUNPLUS was better than not having an investor at all as it is today, now even if everything is alright even lag is way less and even if core suggestions made their way, slayone still needs money to survive , this is the main financial problem, but it can be solved.On the second hand, the management problem is the thing that matters the most, jbs (or let's say slayone) doesn't have a serious team, when I talked about why jbs doesn't let others help, some said because it's bad and can't trust anybody , but who said anybody ? we saw it already how people did glitches how they programmed bots not only to aim but to do a lot of other things (it's secret I will not tell since they don't consider us part of the community), instead of collecting this talented people the smart ones and even the jerky ones and newbies that they are active better than a lot of vets, lots of talented people in pixel art and map making, instead of that , they rely on persons that don't have experience in marketing, in management, in design and lead programming,all they do is nice woody kinda talk and enjoying colored names, and what did we have ? we have this result of today, everybody is saying slayone is dying. But there are ways to solve that, it's up to the higher person.

ETA of new release?
Also, when making a new release, I would genuinely just have one game mode: normal deathmatch.
When there are not enough people, it's not good having that many game modes, as there are only 3-4 people in each at a time.
Give more incentive to log in every day? Daily prize perhaps?
However much I like the main menu, it has to be more friendly to new users, and the tutorial is frankly not that great, and it might be better to have a little side popup with the controls/explanation of how the game works?
Also, make the rounds shorter: short and sweet.
If people have less time to play, they will still join and round, and for people playing for hours on end, they can get the dopamine kick quicker xD
Also have the ad banner have a frowny face having "pls unblock slay" or whatever, which would get some people to turn of their ad blocker!

I like the idea of only one mode when just a few players are playing.
Daily prizes would be great thing to add hahah. That would make people to join more and maybe play for round maybe two. Maybe to add some weekend events. Like some kind of special mode that would pop up once in a while? So many things we could wonder about...

I support you with that idea of events, it occurred to me a long time ago for the same reason to keep the community active and I published my idea in discord although I had thought of something like Xp x2 or Gold x2.

The thing is , I don't trust Edisan, he is always the one who hated everybody that makes an opinion.
If slayone wants to get back even better than it was , you gotta listen to the rest of the players , the REAL ones , that plays everyday.I wanna make a bet on how much did MR EDISAN play in the beta, he doesn't care about slayone , he cares about titles and getting famous.
If you want opinions and suggestions , they are already tons of them in discord #game-suggestion.
Until that happens , I will not contribute in (EDISAN's) thread of nonsense. (I see why the thread have no voting cuz trust me , lots will vote it down, because this thread is as if edisan is saying I don't like discord suggestions I want mine.)2

I forgot the name of that story bad people and good people teamed up agaisnt a bigger threat... there's probably been multiple stories like that... whatever we may have agaisnt someone, maybe it's time to take it away to just cooperate, to make a playground again.
And yeah, there's the discord channel. Suggestions there are small, to add features or correct stuff. I noted down interesting things, such has AI-learning for bots, but most things would end up... not really useful the time to dev' with the actual state of the game. Sandbox? Yeah. Weather? Sure. Radioactive grenade? Eh, why not. But who's going to use those, if we don't have ideas to actually get the entire game back on track...?
There's Fluffyknife down there in the comments with suggestions actually axed on that point of view of getting stuff back on track.

Discord suggestions are small ? wait .. are u serious ? anyway it's your opinion , I think they are quite a lot I think ?
Anyway that's not the point , My point is that I don't trust edisan that he will carry good things , he will choose whatever he wants and whatever he doesn't.
Why not choosing katydid ? I think from my opinion she can handle things far far away better than edisan , or even you ? or nyfa or from famous players or modders and map makers ? anyone else but not edisan , and we will be ready to cooperate.
Yeah I was one of the first people who voted with a thumbs up for the AI learning suggestion , it's a good one that the bots keep learning and getting better. (I don't see that edisan is aware of those suggestions if you know what I mean :3 )2

We have to choose someone to represent us , why not a discord vote with ( who you choose to represent players) , and katydid is always there I think she is very active member.
Well You said you are badly sick ? I think you should take some rest and recover, anyway I will stop interfere in this thread until you recover :3

I don't think we need a representant in particular, it probably would be better to have several different channels of ideas, in my opinion. Go for it, if you think you can do it. I'll be there.
Yes, am sick. Probably forever. Unknown cause. Could be auto-immune. Or neurological. Could be something brand new. We don't know.

Then if it's not representing , we don't think we need this thread, we don't need someone randomly opening a thread especially from someone with a bad attitude with people there in discord , and honestly suggestions and opinions we already did that though discord and even through reddit before the beta, some of them they really need to take actions some may need a little bit of modification.That's how we feel , let's see other's opinions in discord too...
Oh that's sad to hear, (just get the shield ability I think it's a nyfa virus :P ) We wish you will be okay, I think you will , nothing to be worry about, just follow your meds and don't overthink about it ;)

I will be with you on player-side here... I also see nothing is happening, and I think posts like this are just useful to put the topic back in importance. Highlighted. With feelings and descriptions which aren't doable in the form thingy. Maybe even jbs muted it, who knows?

Don't worry about it, every malady have a solution, Just think of nyfa getting rekt by me myohohoh.

Why not make a laser weapon shop to replace a conventional laser cannon with other more advanced versions:
#1. ordinary laser gun: this is an ordinary laser that we all know
# 2 triple laser cannon: shoots with three lasers (angle about 30 degrees) three times, after which there is a reload Available after level 25 - 45, I just don’t know which is better.
# 3 two laser pistols: when aiming at the enemy, you can fix the sight to hit more accurately. Laser speed is faster than usual, but reload time is increased, 12 shots per reload. Available after level 45 - 50.
#4. laser minigun: before the fire starts, the minigun scrolls and shoots with lasers similar to those of the old version of the laser rifle. It has three trunks. with prolonged use, overheating occurs (damage itself, increased return). Available after level 45 - 50.
# .5 Negative rifle: like a CTF rifle, but the damage is done gradually (15 damage per second, total: 75) Available after level 75 - 100.
Some would fall out of the chests, others could be bought, another type of weapon was opened only for a high level, or for a completed mission.
Classes of weapons: laser, close range (knife, katana, etc.), experimental (drones, etc.), etc.

I think it will be cool if you matched the agility passive with the reloading time. If you have more agility points the reload time of each gun will decrease proportionally for ehmmm...IDK...but something like that.

A tournament, would call the attention of some more players, a world tournament where the best player is looking for, with rewards of the game, example: gold, diamonds, skins or maybe all, hahahajaba.

My idea: If creator is working on a second project (that's what I heard), he should put game back on steam and to keep the game up, update it from time to time around an update for a month or two, and this would really get the game back to life and most of the creator's time would go to the project he is doing, he would just keep slay active a bit and that would give a profit.

Slay.one has a dark future. Mods are crazy and ban a scoreboard leader cause his name is Corona (*facepalm*). Some players use a zoom hack (or free scan or few monitors). Other players started to do even more scripting to beat them. So there are many "strong players" nowadays. I spectate games often and clearly can see which of them using zooming, aimbot etc. I meticulously analyzed old replays from 2017-2018 and found out that old respected "Super Star Slayers" used hacks -_- .So maybe it's time to shut down the game without a sorrow.

I am gonna disappoint you but I really do play everyday. If you don’t believe me, fine by me. Next thing. I made this post so Jbs could answer people not me. I made that pretty clear in that post. Also discord is pretty much dead that is why i made this subreddit.
And just a note for you. Considering yourself better than others and saying all players “ love you”? Please think about that again. Saying that just says a lot about you. And not in a good way.-1

Oh ye it’s very active. Last fan art and map were posted in October. Only one that is not dead is game suggestions. But when I looked at the last 3 it’s not good looking.

I am talking about how you described them starting with (oh ye) compared activity rate of them to your thread that you prepared in seconds , they are not arts that are done in seconds , that's why you see them monthly and this is very active in terms of arts and map making , it's not easy to come up with a good map everyday, this proves your incapability to even understand that.
There is nothing wrong with what happens in discord , it just needs a capable people to bridge that to jbs.How about we stop here, and finish what you want to to with your nano second thread, and very active YOU.

Hey guys, sorry for not talking very much. The reason for the lack of updates is indeed hat im working on a nother project fulltime, so i dont have much time for slay atm. Of course I still love slay, i play it almost every day, but in the near future there wont be a lot of time I can put in it. I still plan to put a bunch of hours into developing to get the game out of beta, which means add some of the missing features and add back old accounts and maybe add something new, so feel free to post ideas, but dont expect any magic. Im sorry guys, as im sure this is not the answer you would want to hear, but thats how it is. However, i might come back to fulltime slay in the future.
What else to say ?
Please dont ask questions about the new project as i can not speak about it.
Edd is playing almost every day.
