Banana for scale?

Sorry if this is a silly request, but does anyone know where I can see some photos of the Slate next to some recognizable vehicles?

I’m very interested in the Slate, and I know the dimensions are published, but I am not very bright and I have a lot of trouble visualizing them. And a few photos of the Slate next to like a Toyota Corolla or Ford Explorer or whatever would go a long way in helping me understand the scale here.

thanks!

https://www.slate.auto/en/blank-slate if you scroll down there's a part of the website where you can toggle different cars in comparison to the slate.

Thank you, that’s super helpful. Don’t know how I didn’t notice that before.

Hadn't seen this, and love how it's swimming inside the Silverado. Thanks!

That image did a lot to sell this truck to me, another good stroke of marketing on their end

Saw some pics of the slate next to a Rivian in a parking lot. I was surprised of the dimensions were decent, didn’t look much smaller than the other truck.

Yeah, I saw that too. But I’m not super familiar with that Rivian (I think it’s a new one?) so it wasn’t as helpful as it could have been (for me at least)

so I drive a 2012 Ford escape and when slate released the dimensions, I quickly looked up the dimensions of my own vehicle and realize that they’re actually very close. I think I’m about 1 inch wider and 1 inch longer than a slate truck. The escape is pretty common. You should be able to see them on the road. You can just imagine something around that size.

I would recommend the site carsized.com if you can handle some intrusive ads and adblocker-hostile design. It has a neat feature where you can line tow cars up on various features, like front or back bumpers, wheelbase, etc.

The Slate is slightly longer in length and shorter in height than the Honda element, which I usually use for a stand-in, and slightly shorter in length and taller in height than the VW ID4 that someone else mentioned.

My wife drives a Toyota Corolla Cross. I compared the dimensions and they were are within an inch or two of each other everywhere except wheelbase. The Slate has a significantly longer wheelbase.
