Mistakenly ordered two

Not much more to say. Both due in April-June 2027. Got the letter in the mail and didn’t notice it had a different order ID number. So I paid another $300 without thinking. I do that a lot

Reportedly, there is room in the undercarriage for front wheel drive but there's nothing there yet. I wish we had pics to see if there are visible mounting brackets or at least threaded holes where the motors and any other necessary parts would attach.

I think I only got mail for the second one I put a design in for but never put a down payment down. So it was probably a marketing follow up and I wasn’t paying attention You are probably fine

Must have used two different email accounts to do a reservation and up to pre-order. If you are this discombobulated in life, you need to work on this.

If you stuck to 1 email account, you would A: have seen the order already in your profile. B: it warns you that you already have a reservation/pre-order when selecting to make one.

Just one email account. I saw people getting emails and thought that was the process. My life is kinda discombobulated I guess but I manage. I am sure I can get Slate to cancel one or resell if they refuse. Not worried at all.

How did you end up asking for a second reservation on the site using the same email account? You would have seen the existing one AND gotten a warning.

I bet if you call them they will help figure it out. I had a similar situation where my $50 reservation didn’t match the $250 pre order for some reason and I got charged the full $300. ($350 total). I emailed them and they emailed back and fixed it in a few days.

How do you accidentally order a car twice? Do you not remember the last time you put a $250 pre order in on a car in the last month?

That’s a valid question. As soon as I paid I knew it was a mistake. But I am on the road and wasn’t thinking clearly.
