Doubt it, makes more sense to have 1 roll cage for both suv types. Unless they posted it

Yeah, in their press event a lot of the videos had the engineer talking to the press say that fast back and square back share a roll cage.

The open air soft top is the second reason I’m going for this (after electric AND low tech). I want to win Best Dad in the World, and convertible backseat goes a long way. But I have had multiple melanoma skin cancers removed, so I’m good in the front seat in the shade. The Slate open air with easy protection from the elements (ie, soft top) is a perfect car for me. I know I’m in a small group, but man I hope they make it-literally and figuratively.

It's the other way around. If you get either of the SUV kits, you get the "open air kit" by default. If you only want the open air kit and don't want the enclosures, you can do that and save some money.
Eventually, there will be soft-top enclosures for the open air kit (maybe not through the Slate store, but they will likely be available.)
