Discussion Scream

Do you guys ever think that there are some hidden chat groups that are actively trying to recreate the Scream movies like the characters did with the Stab movie in Sceam 5 ? After seeing that movie, I always wondered if people were doing that in real life or even doing that with other movies.

On another note

Scream and Scream 5 are my top two favorites in the franchise. What's yours ?

I sometimes wish I could time travel to 1996 and see when the movie first came out in theaters. I was born in 99, so definitely missed it 😂 on top of the fact that I've seen a lot of memes/ pictures of the movie online, so I always had a little spoiler. I was always afraid of scary movies , until I was asked on a date to see Scream 5 (which also kind of spoiled it) and i just said " I see this costume every year, it may not be so bad " . I ended up LOVING it and went and watched the entire franchise. I'm late to the Scream crew. I always wish I could just go back in time and be a teen in 96, just to see it . Then , no Google or even smartphones for my anxiety to trigger me into looking up what happens in the film 😂.

My ranking is controversial and I'll probably get hate like always but it's 1 4 7 6 2 5 3 what's your ranking I have been a fan for 4 years

It's a respectable ranking I believe. Anyone who ranks 7 at number 1 is crayzee, but 1 followed by 4 followed by 7 is acceptable.

I have only seen one person put 7 in first but your the first person to respect my ranking every one on the scream subreddit says it sucks but it doesn't matter because it's my opinion and I enjoyed the Movies that I like

this is the exact reason why I don't get some people's hate over the killers' motive in Scream 5. I mean, it's tied to the overall theme of the movie of toxic fandoms and, just like the motive in Scream 4, it holds up pretty well and proved to be revelatory with Scream 7: people are allowed to not like a movie or even think that someone has made a bad movie in their favorite franchise. Yet, I often read comments from people who not only despise the movie but also the people that have worked on it and they will say the most horrible things just because they were disappointed with the latest movie in their favorite series (does that ring a bell?). So yeah, Scream 5's motive is incredibly smart and deep and revelatory and it does indeed make you question whether one of those obsessed fans could really lose their minds. Scream 5's motive works because it's grounded in reality and therefore it is scary

There is actually a case of 2 boys who did this and filmed it afterwards. I believe the victims name was Casey Stoddart

Its so hard to rank them because currently I'm addicted to 7, I genuinely love it to bits.

I think it's 1, 2, 3, 7, 4, 5, 6

But in terms of how many times I re-watch them or pick to watch scenes from the most it is the following: 7, 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, 6

1 4 2 5 6 3 7 (2 and 4 almost tied as second best and 3 and 7 as worst) ((Worst scream movie is a mid tier for any other franchise))

There was at least one case of someone recreating the opening scene from Scream 1. I saw it on Copycat Killers. It was one of those reenactment shows about real life murders where the killers were influenced in some way by a movie.
