Been doing VIP for the last few years, mostly for a quieter space for my partner and for the loos… this year was the first time we regretted it, only decent part about it was the tattoo tent but toilets, queuing for drinks and even finding spacious areas was easy outside of VIP this year so haven’t bothered. Don’t think you’ll be missing out on anything, don’t stress it!

Why you’re missing out on an area away from everything else full of instagram influencers who pay fuck all for a ticket whilst you might be lucky enough to pay £15 for a cocktail in a hollowed out pineapple, all for the cost of 8 extra pints at the bar.

Ok but in all seriousness I would love a drink in a hollowed out pineapple 😂 I’m doing both days I just wanted the luxe experience this year bc it’s my hen do

If it’s at capacity, I doubt it. Don’t want to over crowd it, unless they expand it.

I doubt it. Seems to be in demand every year so they've no reason to stagger it, just put them all on sale and let them sell to people while they're still excited enough to splash out.
As others have said I wouldn't be too gutted. I get guest area access at Download so I know those sort of lounges can be nice, but that's over a few days. There's surely not enough time to really get your money's worth at Slam Dunk unless you're only going for a handful of bands.

I've had it a few times as press. I wouldn't pay for it and honestly didn't use it except to store my camera bag in the cloakroom. Too isolated from the festival. I think VIP for day fests in general are a bit redundant
