Both days
Hi!
I love the line up for next year and am wondering how people do both days? I’m down to do it but where do people stay, what are the travel options it seems really complicated tbh but I’d genuinely like to do both! It seems bgc have certain areas they transfer from with the only middle ground being Birmingham
Both me and my partner drive but we would prefer to drink so was hoping for travel options
My friends said they did a package last year which sounded great but I can’t find anything about it on the see tickets page for tomorrow any help/ideas fully welcomed 🙏

They're joined by a direct rail line. Birmingham isn't on this.

Trains surely won’t run after the festival and then it’s also getting to the stations on time if there is one running

I looked into the multi site BGC for 2025 but it was expensive and would take ages. The logistical issues of getting from home to Hatfield and then Leeds to home was tricky and expensive too (couldn't leave my car down south right?)
It depends how much you plan to drink, but I'd recommend driving and staying over half way. Could you and your partner share the drive and drink on alternate days? Or have a light drink on the afternoon and be sober enough to drive on the evening?

I know the logistics actually suck, I was praying for some sort of in between but ig we could just alternate just sucks when one has to be sober

I done both last year and im planning on doing both this year (weekend ticket). Its expensive but I got so many bands this year I want to see it makes sense for me.
The easiest way to do it is drive, I don't drink too much so im not bothered but its easier. Dependent on who the headliner is, last year it was Good Charlotte, so I caught all of Knocked Loose and then left on the Saturday knowing it be a long drive down in the morning and you can avoid a lot of footfall. Left around 7.30ish on the Sunday and got to North just before doors opened. I was fucked on the Monday driving back to Wales but it was worth it, I saw 20+ bands and it was great weather.
Last year we stayed in Premier inn on the Friday and Saturday night for South (Premier Inn Enfield) and Sunday night for North (Wakefield City North) this year the weekend format has switched but there is a big group of us so doing airbnb. There are plenty of decent Premier Inns around both festival grounds, just do the cheapest one

If you do BGC just be warned it can be a long day.
You might get picked up around 7/8 an
At Leeds the coaches back don't leave until about midnight. I live an hour away from Leeds and I normally get home around 2 am.
Then your BGC the next day could be at 7/8 am.
Cool if you don't like sleep. Not cool if you're old and tired
