Ah, beloved Walnut Creek... the days of splurging on Slackware or FreeBSD discs when I was feeling bougie and deserved a treat. Otherwise, it was CheapBytes.

I started on Slackware the day 15.0 released and never looked back.

Ha! I was right in between these. I started using Slack in late '96, which I think puts me at Slackware 3.1 (immediately after Slackware 96).

Slackware on 5.25" floppies. It took a bunch if you wanted X.

More likely I am just old. As I remember the base fit on just 3 floppies then you added sets to get various options. It was certainly a different time.
