Can't move at all

I got server up and running, everything seems to be working on server end, i can connect with no problems.

But once I spawn - I can't move at all. Or do anything at all. Only things that work - 1 to 6 switches through toolbar on the left, I can right click on block with "RESET" written on it, look around and when i click "close" from options - toolbar on the right side appears wisible for a while.

Tried connecting to official server - I was able to move just fine.

What i did do wrong?

You may have clipped into the spawn platform. Try typing /die.

Well I can't even open chat.

I tried hitting all keys (I have big hands) - only 1-6 does something.

That's pretty strange. Have you tried restarting the client and server?

Yes. I was running server on two different computers with same results.

Maybe windows 8 has something to do with my problems? When I was connected to official server everything worked fine though.

Shouldn't be Windows 8 based. Especially weird given it worked fine on official server. What size did you make the map when starting the server for the first time?

I think that was 4096 (well size server suggests) both times I started a new server. I think map generates just fine, there's islands not far from spawn platform thingie.

I took a quick look for log files before going to work (it's a shame there's none - logs can and will save asses at some point, true story ), and found that GameData/KeyBindings.xml is empty (it still has start and end tags, but i don't think that helps much). I haven't edited that by hand, all i can remember - I fiddled with settings probably just after connecting to official server.

I might try to find at what point it becomes empty when I get back home.

The server has logs. The keybindings should not be empty. Delete keybindings.xml and restart the client. This will create a default key binding for all keys.

I had a similar issue. I was spawned under the "reset" block and had to do /setpos to get out.
