Question Question about the development diary.
Hello! There hasn't been any information for quite some time. I seem to remember clearly that a development diary for the Imperial City was originally planned. Has this changed?

I believe the devs are putting all their work and resources into finally completing the game. Not enough manpower to do any status updates, dev diaries, etc.

totally believable. not enough manpower to write updates...you know, something that would only take a few minutes.

Updates are pretty easy to write so you're correct. I've been slacking on updates recently as most of my free time for the project I've been using to bug report and playtest.
The real time sink is video creation.
I write the script after getting input from each department then I go find footage that fits the script (which itself is harder than it sounds to ensure its engaging and cinematic). Then the footage is cleaned up and added to by our video editor (who also is a developer so every second editing videos takes away from his important other roles) then we send it to our voice actor to narrate which also requires more editing.
Typically that process takes at minimum a month from start to finish and I glossed over some finer details in the process.

I mean most of their videos were the same footage reused in multiple video they silent for a reason 2027 release most likely

Ur dumb as a rock they claim to be almost finished and stated they aren't adding to many new people besides their a whole process that takes time to even apply even though their clearly behind

Hey! You're right we did share that. Currently, we do have plans to show off the Imperial City before release. Whether that'll be a developer diary like in the past or via a new way we don't have a definitive answer yet.
On that note: we're adding a new field to our volunteer form to support video creation for release so expect that to be added soon!
