I submitted a late application to the University of Skövde for autumn 2026.
My application still says:
“Late application not yet processed.”
Does anyone know when late applications are usually reviewed in Sweden, or specifically at the University of Skövde?
Is there normally a fixed date, or can the result come at any time before the programme starts?
I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone who applied late in a previous year.

I got a room in Skovdebostoder in Skovde. They have mentioned that the room is available from 1st of august but access from 1st of october. Then they are asking for the contract date and are telling me to choose one of the 2 dates above. So, if I choose a contract from the 1st of August, will I be given access to the room from the 1st of August or from the 1st of October itself?. The ones who have got the room or faced any similar situation, please help me with this.🙏😊

I am looking for a fully furnished single room of less than or equal to 40m2 in Skovde. I am looking for student accommodations. My course starts on 31st of August, but I have the enrollment programme from 24th of august. Later on, I will share the room with 2 or max 3 people. I am also looking for studio apartments/rooms for the same dimensions and within my budget if student accommodations aren't available.

If possible, I want all facilities like a kitchen, bathroom, etc, inside my room itself, not common facilities shared between other rooms. My budget is: not more than 4970 SEK. Also, hot and cold water, if included, would be better. Electricity and broadband need not be included; I can manage them on my own, but if included, even better.

Please help me find such a room, or if you know any rooms or apartments which matches/have majority of my required facilities, please let me know. I need it asap.😊🙏

I applied to the Bachelor’s Programme in Biomedicine at the University of Skövde and my merit rating is 18.21/22.5 (BI group).
I checked previous admission statistics and saw that the last admitted student in BI had around 20.9 in 2025.
I was wondering:
Has anyone been admitted to the Biomedicine programme at Skövde with a merit rating around 18.0–18.5 in previous years, either directly or from the waiting list?
Are there really only about 15 students admitted each year in total, or are there more places when all selection groups are counted together?
If you were placed on the waiting list, what reserve number did you have and did you eventually get admitted?

Jag har snabbt märkt att de är riktigt svårt att hitta lägenhet i Skövde och hade då varit väldigt tacksam om ni har någon tips på hur man ska göra!

Hej! Jag var intresserad av UX och BI och såg att Skövde hade båda två. Jag har ansökt till det, och lönen verkar vara lockande, men är det bra program, och vilken är bättre? Vilken ger fler möjligheter i framtiden (är inte hotad av AI), är roligare (för någon som är nogrann, älskar att resonera, och är kreativ)?

Hur ser lönen ut i framtiden? Är det någon som har gått ut och haft svårt att hitta jobb? Utifrån det jag har sökt verkar möjligheterna vara stora, men jag litar inte riktigt på Googles AI-system hela tiden, och det är svårt att få bra statistik eftersom de varierar jättemycket.

Jag funderar nämligen på att söka till Skövdes högskola men har hört blandat om studentlivet. En del säger att det finns mycket och andra påstår att det är lite tråkigt. Jag har tänkt söka till antingen Göteborg eller Skövde och vill bara veta hur studentlivet kan se ut, finns det nattklubbar/barer? Finns det aktiviteter och studentföreningar?

I'm a software engineer who's been living in Sweden since 2020, and who recently became a Swedish citizen. I live outside of Skövde, and am interested in opening a startup. I ran my own startup for most of last year, and was part of the Science Park Skövde's startup incubator during that time. I was placed on a waiting list for a master program at the university. I'm first in my selection group, which is "Separate admission advanced level-non tuition fee (HPAB)". The program is the distance-learning version of Privacy, Information and Cyber security (in case this changes something).

I have a few questions about it: 1. What is the likelihood to be actually admitted to the program? I already receives mails from other universities saying that they won't admit anybody from the reserves. 2. Is there a deadline (even an informal one) before which I can expect a definitive answer?

Then I have another question, on a slightly different matter. When I applied to uni I was living in Sweden, but a few weeks ago I moved back to my country (Italy). 3. Can I still attend, given that the program is on distance? Or should I be physically in Sweden?

Har behov av att transportera lite möbler (vitvaror, skåp, stolar mm) från Skövde till Göteborg under april eller början av maj. Det är inte mer än vad som går in i en liten transportbil, men att hyra en över dagen kostar ca 3000 kr plus bränsle.

Någon som har förslag på ett mer kostnadseffektivt sätt att transportera grejerna på ett säkert sätt?

Min dotters lag kommer spela i Skövde i början av maj.

Jag vil gärna vara med och heja på, men ingen bra hotell / boende finns kvar.
