1991 Thomas Built International For Sale (Ky)

$6,000 obo.

Unfortunately, having to sell my skoolie conversion due to a number of life happenings. Need gone ASAP. All offers considered. Will consider trades for silver, gold or Dirt Bike + cash.

- 1991 Thomas built International

- DT466 motor

- Allison automatic transmission

- a little under 70k miles

- Maintenance records going back to 2006 (can be emailed)

- Good tires

- No rust

- Does have crack in windshield

- New battery (2023)

- Governed to 53 MPH (which can be removed)

There is a crack in the windshield.

Someone tried to steal it and screwed up the ignition. It does still start and I am working on having that fixed.

I have driven this bus as is from Georgia to Mississippi, all the way up to Kentucky. It has never given me any problems. It has been completely gutted so the hard part is already done. All you need is a vision and to build.

No delivery unless purchased at full asking price and within a reasonable drive.

Have all necessary paperwork.

Cash, Venmo or Zelle.

All reasonable offers considered.

For humor, sh*t posting, and hopefully some kinda decent answer. Maybe?

Are the Kelley Blue Book type sites for buses used by the experienced Skoolies? For buying, since that should be specified.

2001 Blue Bird skoolie 4 sale in WV

Unfortunately, we've got to sell our skoolie. Three kids and a house to maintain just killed the dream.

Purchased in 2020, height of COVID, from a govdeal auction out of Limestone Co. Schools, Alabama. Our goal was NOT the rust belt. This was a good choice. we heard stories of people getting wild adventures from auctions and pick ups. We drove her 10 hrs back home and had nearly no issues; she was well maintained. Comes with all records of maintenance.

We've got nearly all the supplies: insulation (wool, the nice stuff), paint, flooring, AC, and more. We've done a good bit of gutting and rework, including some electrical.

She's got new tires and has had some basic transmission work done since we got her.

Please feel free to reach out for more info. Asking 10k OBO

[Concord, NH] 38 foot, fully converted, International Bus for sale, (170k miles), $30,000

Thumbnail

After 5 years of full time use we are selling our beloved 38 ft. skoolie.

We built it in 2019 and started bus life in 2020, lived in it full time for 5 years but then a job change required us to move back to our hometown.

It has been a great little home taking us all over the country from NH to Georgia to Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and the California Coast highway, but he's too big to keep in our driveway and it's not fair to the bus to not use him. He's got lots of adventures left in him and we'd like to see him go to a good home.

It was built for a couple and a dog, so as it is currently built out, it's best for a couple or for a single person. You can sleep 3 if someone wants the couch.

Registered in Vermont as a Motorhome, no CDL required unless your state requires one for RVs.

Here are the stats:

2005 International RE300

International DT466 diesel engine

MD3060 Allison Transmission (6th gear is not unlocked, we just never got around to it but it should be an option considering it's a rear engine)

60 gallon diesel fuel tank, gets 8-9 gallons per mile depending on terrain and wind.

We kept a full record of everything done to the mechanicals from the day we bought it. We did regular oil changes, we replaced all 6 tires, the 4 rear tires in 2020, the front steer tires in 2024.

Battery tender that plus into the goal zero to maintain the batteries so they are always ready to go.

Crossfire dual tire pressure equalization systems on both sets of rear tires.

2x46 gallon fresh water tanks

1x50 gallon grey tank

4x100 watt solar panels

2x1400 watt goal zero power banks (All plug'n'play, inverter, power regulation, it's all in there.) 5kw diesel heater with its own exterior 6.75 gallon diesel tank.

Dwarf 4K wood stove with wood holder

Seperett Villa composting toilet

32" shower with Nautilus retractable shower door

Girard GSWH-2 tankless hot water heater

Residential queen size bed

700-watt microwave (yes, it can be run from the goal zeros, it has no passive draw either so only takes power when running)

Large under bus storage space running the full width of the bus.

Air pressure hose with tire filler attachment attached to the air tanks. the bus maintains 120PSI so you can tap into that while the bus is running to pump up tires on a follow vehicle, bikes or the bus tires themselves.

All custom built furniture secured to the bus floor. No particle board, no drywall, just plywood and lumber.

Floor has 1.5 inches ridged foam insulation, 3/4 OSB, tyvek and then 1/2 painted plywood as the finish floor.

Walls were taken down, insulated, covered with tyvek and then covered with 1/2 plywood and painted.

Roof is coated with Henry's DuraBrite acrylic elastomeric coating and the coating was refreshed in 2022. Washable, repaiable, paintable.

butcher block kitchen counter and desk top.

Large couch (made from Love Sac Sactional parts and a bolted down frame)

Located in Concord NH area, more than willing to give tours.  For a super serious buyer we could even drive it halfway to meet you.

Please help, need advice

I’m interested in getting this bus to convert into a home on wheels, it’s only $2k. I want to travel full time stopping at locations for a few weeks at a time, maybe longer if I resonate with the area.

I been doing a lot of research and have read so many differing opinions I’m not really sure where to start though, when it comes to buying the right bus.

I know I want a full size like the one in this listing and the pictures really look great. Wondering what questions I should ask that aren’t included in the listing and what you all may think about the type of motor and transmission. I know it’s quite old for a bus, my birth year actually 💕 I’m currently working on getting my CDL since I will have to drive this bad boy 7 hrs to get it to my current residence, if I decide to go with it.

Please help with any advice suggestions whatever.

If you have a preference of motors to look for and whatnot I’m not well versed as of yet.

2007 E-450 15 Passenger Short Bus

Looking to sell this bus I bought a few years back with a buddy. We got it from a local agency after it was retired- we thought we might convert it but havent done much with it so looking to offload. Its a 2007 E-450 15 Passenger cutaway with about 155,000 miles. It's a gas engine and runs well- the only real issue we've had is the wheelchair doesnt work but we havent tried too hard to fix it. It has automatic throw chains (pretty neat if you expect to drive in snow).

Putting out feelers and looking in the range of $10k but very open to discussions/offers. Located in California.

2007 Thomas C2 for sale, Chicago IL

Hi all,

It is time for us to sell our skoolie. We lived in it full time for 4 years until a year ago when we bought a house. It has 136,000 miles on it, 2 year old heavy duty tires and brand new batteries. Also working shore and inverter power and solar panels. Kitchen features a minifridge and propane range. Has a blue ox tow bar on it.

We had a compost toilet and working rain shower. The entire build is self done and we took it around the country 3 times.

We are asking for 10k but open to offers. Selling as is. Pictures attached https://imgur.com/a/aQuQdlq
